She authors "Poetography505," on Facebook & co-authors, "The Word is Write," on Facebook & Instagram. She is a poet with Poetry Global Network (PGN) on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook & Twitter, and co-hosts the show, “The Poets Reacts.” on Poetry Global Network on YouTube. She has been included in “We Don’t Break We Burn”, poems of resilience, by MindWell Poetry Press, Milk and Honey, assembled by Samantha Swain, as well as multiple poetry magazines and journals. Her current collection of poetry, “Conversations with Grief”, is available for purchase through Read or Green Books.
The Yorktown Poetry Workshop is sponsored by the John C Hart Memorial Library in Shrub Oak, NY and meets virtually (allowing those interested in poetry from around the world to join us) on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6 PM Eastern time. It may be joined by simply clicking https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83176155376 (no additional software is required).
Marissa will read her poetry to open and close the meeting and occasionally throughout the evening. Each attendee desiring to read poetry (there is no pressure to do so) will read one poem and then hear polite comments/criticism of the work.
I hope you will join us
